Infopath on SP with Access now SQL connection

I have an Infopath form that is published on a SP Server that has several
views built for reporting and the like. The docs are essentially a help desk
or service desk type of form. It was initially built with an Access DB as
the back end connection Main Submit. We have recently decided to move to an
SQL DB as the Main Submit. The problem I am running into is if I publish the
new form with the SQL DB to the SP List I am getting an error when trying to
open any of the saved forms. The error is stating that an Access Schema is
expected and the SQL Schema is not. No errors noted when opening the form
new.

I have the simple solution of publishing to a new location and leaving the
old location with the previous form, but we do metric reporting off of the SP
List and that would add a layer of potential issues for our metrics.

Any ideas for how I can publish the updated form with the new db connection
and still open the older forms will be greatly appreciated.
