I'm running Office 2007 Professional SP1 on my Gateway M285-E tablet, and
I've come across a strange problem. If I open Word, create a typed document,
and do a "save as" Word Document (.docx), everything is fine. I then decide
that I want to apply inking to the document to markup any suggestions or
comments on different areas of the document. I go to Review -> Start Inking.
I ink up the page to the desired amount, and go to "save as" Word Document,
and change the file name to something different, so I can keep a copy of the
original unmarked document. I then close the document by clicking on the red
X in the top right hand corner. When I later re-open the marked document, the
ink has shifted down the page, and is no longer in the appropriate place. It
usually shifts down and to the right to be exact. Has anyone else experienced
this, or is there a known fix? I have applied all Office updates. I have not
done a re-install of the office suite yet. Thanks.
