First, when you insert a project into a master schedule, I
wanted to make sure that the only way to see the title of
the inserted schedule in your master schedule's Task Name
field is to type it into the File > Properties Dialog Box
Does anyone know how to force Project to insert the file
name instead of the field from the Properties Dialog Box?
Also, has anyone ever had an error where the title was
typed correctly into the above mentioned dialog box, but
when the project is inserted into the master schedule, the
Project Name in the Task Name column is blank or is an old
name from a previously saved schedule?
I have had this happen to me several times. I cannot seem
to duplicate it. It is not consistent. I also have had
other users at the organization have this problem. We are
working off of schedule templates and are not using Server
at this time.
Thanks for your help!
