how can I insert an effect faster, can I set an preseted effect to an object
automatically?
Now I have to insert an effect into individual object one by one, and
repeatedly.

Ykcanaed,
Don't know what version of Powerpoint you are using, but in PPT2002/2003 you
could use the prefomatted Animation schemes. Look for the taskpane
Slide-design animation schemes. You can choose between subtle moderate
exiting schemes, they work well in presentations consisting of standard
slide layouts.

Luc,

thanks for your advice!
but it seems not to be my problem.
your suggestion refers to individual slides,
my problem refers to individual objects, like a text box.
such as, in presentation I have to show the text box one after another.
is there any method of inserting an animation effect faster.
since the macro function cannot record the action of inserting an animation
or sound effect!

Ykchanaed,
Ah, I see.
Just select all your textboxes and apply the animation effect on it. Is that
not working for you? Be aware that if you do that you will have to choose on
click in the begin textbox as Powerpoint applies with previous to it. If I
want to use the animation effect on other slides I usually make one textbox
apply all animation needed, then copy the textbox x-times, all I have to do
then is to change the text in the textbox.

Hi,

Also, if you have a shape already animated, duplicate it <Control + D> and
it will also duplicate the animation.

Luc,
Thanks very much!
It solves my problem!
Excuse me for asking one more question.
Is there a way to change the default settings of an animation effect to my
own default?
Thanks again.

Ykcanaed,
