Insert picture default folder & view

I'm on a PC with PP 2002. When ever I want to insert a picture I'm always taken to the My Picture folder. That is not where I keep my pictures. Is there any way to change this default

Also after navigating to my picture folder I sometimes change the view to details to select my picture. When I return to the insert picture window for a second picture the view has changed back to the default. Is there any way to make it stay where I set it

Thank you, Thank you

Do you have a fix for every program wanting to go to My Documents?

I was able to change word and exel but a lot of my other programs don't allow me to change the default

I know this is a PP site but what the heck I thought I would ask

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

PowerPoint doesn't provide the functionality that you are looking for.
Instead, you would have to modify the system registry (not supported) or
use some other workaround (shortcuts) to make it easier to get from your My
Pictures folder to where you want to go.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that it's important that
PowerPoint (actually this is an Office-wide behavior) provide this kind of
functionality, don't forget to send your feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS,
please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions)
