Inserting file/object (.val)

How do I insert a .val file into PowerPoint? I am using a program called
Cn3D, and am wondering if I can insert this type of file into a presentation?
I am able to insert it after exporting to a PNG file, but then I can't
manipulate the picture/animation anymore.

Thanks

I don't know your application, but I do know, that it is possible to view
VRML-files by inserting a control element
(http://www.parallelgraphics.com/products/cortona/). So one possibility
would be to use this, if your application can export files to VRML.

Another possibility: Look in View - Toolbars - Control Toolbox - More
Controls, whether you can access a control for your application there and
integrate it on a slide. Use properties of the object to tell it which file
to use.

And please, post back whether this was helpful or not. I had a short look on
the Cn3D website and it seems to be an interesting challenge to integrate
these molecule models in PowerPoint.

Kind regards,
Ute
