inserting hyperlinks

Frontpage suddenly stopped allowing me to insert
hyperlinks into my web pages. I highlight the intended
link, click on Insert, then on Hyperlink, and where the
window used to open giving options for where I wanted to
link to, and how I wanted the new information displayed
(whole page, etc), nothing happens.

I have also noticed that when I am reading email that has
a hyperlink in it, and I click on it, nothing happens.

I am using AOL as my browser, have not downloaded any
viruses as far as I can tell, and have not installed any
new software or hardware recently.

It seems as if some setting has been changed that is
affecting frontpage and my browser; but I'm at a loss to
figure it out.

there is a setting somewhere that you can change. it me be in internet
options.

I'd say the first thing you need to do is throw away
