If I have a task-A splitted into two portions A1 & A2, & I want to insert a
new task-B between two portions & link it such that A1 preceeds B as
finish-to-start & A2 succeeds B also as finish-to-start.

The problem is that MS Project 2003 enables me to link B only after A2.

Do anyone have an answer?
Thanks a lot.

Hello Mohammed the Unique,

I'm sorry you cannot create links (dependencies) between the split
portions of a task. A would need to be 2 separate tasks to accomplish
what you are seeking.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Julie,

Yeah, I know that solution but I don't like it very much. MS should find a
solution in its next versions of MS Project.

Thanks a lot for paying attention,
Mohammed
