inserting video shuts down ppt

Every time I try to insert a video into PPT 2003, I get an error message
that PPT has encountered a prob and must shut down. When I try to run PPT
files that already have video, I get the same message or (only occasionally)
the video will play correctly. Any ideas?

This could be because of Muvee autoproducer..or more importantly the
Mainconcept MPEG codecs
Check the installed applications for movie editing sounding programs
