Install Access 2000 with Office 2003

Justin

Have a machine that came with an Office 2003 version that
didn't include Access.

I have from a previous machine Office 2000 Small Business
and Office 2000 Professional Upgrade.

Can I install the 2000 version of Access and if so how -
I have tried inserting the 2000 Professional upgrade disk
but it says I don't have any qualifying product installed!

Thanks

No in-version upgrade (Office 2000 SBE ->Office 2000 Pro) is allowed.

Hi

Not sure I understand...maybe I wasn't very clear in my
question.

I have all the original disks that came with my previous
machine, which had Office 2000 including Access.

Now I have a new machine with Office 2003, but not with
Access - can I install the 2000 version of Access to work
alongside Office 2003?

Thanks

If it is not an OEM and the upgrade base is neither an OEM version, then the
answer is yes, you can.

According to yr origonal post the disks you have are for the upgrade version
of Office, therefore unless you have a qualifying product, and niether
Office 2K SBE or Office 2003 are qualifying versions, you cannot install.
You will need to 'find' a qualifying disk to insert when yr trying to
install Access 2K
