install after restore

I am trying to install my old office disk after a system
restore. I have the code but since it is an upgrade I am
being asked for the original program which I do not
have. Any way around this?

Well the origonal software is part of the licence, so you no longer have the
licence to install the upgrade.
Having being all high and mighty and said that I suppose you could ebay for
some old legitimate software.
Not sure of the legal implications of that.

Yep - buy Office. You see, when you used the licence of the product to
qualify, it was 'assimilated' into the upgrade licence (think of it as two
halves). They became one licence and, as you no longer have the qualifying
product, you no longer qualify to use the upgrade. Sorry, but that's just
the way the cookie crumbles.

This scumbag says: "Sorry, but that's just the way the cookie crumbles".
This may not be correct. The easiest way to delete the cookies is via
Tools, Internet Options, the eneral Tab.

This scumbag also asks "My great-grandfather was born and raised in Elgin -
did he eventually lose his marbles?" Assuming intelligence can be passed
through the genes then your question is answered affirmatively by looking at
your intelligence or stupidy as the case may be.

Sorry this is the way biscuits crack up!!!
