install from file server

Here is the scenario:
Installed Office XP from a file server.
The file server has been replaced with a different file
server.
When I try to update the service pack it asks for the old
file server. is there a file I need to make a change on to
point it to the new file server or do I have to uninstall
and reinstall?
Any help is appreciated.
