Install Office 2003 to more than 2 computers?

I purchased Office 2003 Professional Edition for home use. I have 3
computers at home. Is there any way I can install this to all 3 computers
without purchasing additional copies?

No. A retail Office licence may be installed to "one desktop and one
portable (i.e. laptop/Tablet PC)" providing the following conditions are
met: -

1) The other system is for the *sole* use of the licensee and
2) They are *not* in simultaneous use.

If you want to install it to three systems (for use by three different
people) you will require three licences.

Our family has three cars - if my father insures his are my mother's and
sister's cars also covered?

Did you really require Professional? If anyone is a student or teacher you
could have purchased the STE (Office Standard - Word, Outlook, Excel and
PowerPoint) and installed it on all three.

I purchased the Academic Edition of Office Professional 2003 from the college
bookstore. Is this different from the Student Edition? It says "Academic
Edition" on the case. How do I purchase additional licensing agreements? I
have 2 sons in college and would like to have it installed on both desktops
and the laptop.

Academic and Students and Teachers Editions are entirely different. The
Academic license is the same as the commercial license, except purchased for
a fraction of the cost by the educational institution and resold at the same
cost. The Students and Teachers Edition is Office Standard, offered to
qualified households with a student, teacher, or combination thereof and
allows 3 installs, any variation. The Academic sticks to the one desktop,
one portable requirement.

It appears he is looking for suggestions, not wise cracks and isn't using
this news group to "advertise" his business. Do you have a suggestion or can
you only post pot shots to satisfy your ego?

I would recommend that you make cases that aren't a pain in the ass to open.
