Can I install Publisher 2003 over Publisher 98 without having to uninstall
the latter first? Will Publisher 2003 read existing files made with
Publisher 98?

TIA for your answers.

Won, yes to both of your answers. You will be prompted to remove Pub 98
during the Pub 2003 install. The installation routine will remove Pub 98 for
you. FWIW, you can also choose to keep both versions installed.

Thank you for your fast answer Brian ... and for the good news (;^)! In
order to keep my Pub 98 will the new install offer me the option? Or, if
not, how may I go about it? I do need my security blanket until I can work
with the new version!

Thanks again,
Regards...

You will be prompted to remove Publisher 98 as a choice by putting a check
mark in the box. It will say something like, setup has found a previous
version.....etc.

Thanks again Brian. I successfully installed Pub 2003 and was able to keep
Pub 98 for now. My first impressions of the new program are very positive,
and I believe that I'll be able to remove my 'training wheels' soon.

Regards...
