I have the same problem. Does anyone from MS/Groove have any solutions?

Hi Marc,

please perform the following steps to see whether we can resolve this issue:

(a) Download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility on your desktop.
http://download.microsoft.com/download/E/9/D/E9D80355-7AB4-45B8-80E8-983A48D5E1BD/msicuu2.exe

(b) After you install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, click Start
menu-> All Programs-> Windows Install Clean Up.

(c) Highlight Groove 2007 entries in the list and then click Remove. Please
don't remove any other entries in the list.

(d) Click OK and wait for the process to end.

(e) Click Exit to close the Windows Installer Cleanup utility.

(f) Click Start menu-> Run, type "regedit" (without the quotation marks) in
the Open box and press Enter.

Locate any registry key related to Groove, Rename it to "original name_OLD"

Restart your computer and try to install Groove 2007 agian.

Is this issue resolved>

I have had the same problem. I think the problem was innstalling Groove 2007
when Office Beta with Technical Refresh was innstalled. You have to innstall
it "balanced", not install any Technical Refresh on one product before you
have all on "the same level"

This solution worked for me:

- Uninstall Office 2007 Beta
- Install office 2007 Beta
- Install Groove Beta
- Install Office 2007 Technical Refresh
- Install Groove 2007 Technical Refresh
