Installing Office 2003

I currently have Office 2002 XP installed on my computer. I lost the disk.

I'm thinking about buying Office 2003 Upgrade edition. When I install it,
will it ask me for more original 2002 disk or will it just search the hard
drive to see if I have the required previous version to be eligible for this
upgrade?

Hi, Jim,

It should detect the existing version on your computer. However, you may
want to replace the original CD in case you need it in the future, because
of a reformat or whatever. See if this helps:
