Installing Office basic edition

I have windows operating system XPwsp2. The system cme with Microsoft office
trial package. The trial has expired. What I would like to know is can I
install the Microsoft office basic edition package 2003/without any problems?
The basic edition has only three progams, Word,Excel, andOutlook. Theses are
the only programs I need. The basic package is an OEM package. Does this
create any problems during install or while being used?
Thank you
Harvey

Uninstall the trial version first.

Thanks for getting back to me Milly, what you are telling me if I understand
what you are saying, is I can install the windows office basic package if I
uninstall the trial version first. Is this correct? The basic package has a
COA and it is an OEM. Do these present any problem? The only reason I would
like to know is the Basic install CD, is not cheap, and I can install an
upgrade package for an additional $100. The problem is I don't need the
entire package, the basic has the three programs that I use.
Thanks again
