How can I remove Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003 from my Compu

This is very frustrating!

Everytime I attempt to remove Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003, utilizing
the "Add or Remove Programs" area in my Control Panel, I always get a
"Windows Installer" pop up window which states,

"The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is
unavailable."

AND, it states, "Click OK, to try again, or enter an alternate path to a
folder containing the installation package 'BASIC11N.MSI' in the box below.
(I cannot find a folder containing the installation package 'BASIC11N.MSI',
and I don't know what 'BASIC11N.MSI' even means.)

In the "Use Source" area located below the above statement, it offers two
sources, one is: C:\MSOCache\All Users\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9\,
and the other source is: Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003.

When I click OK, utilizing the C:\MSOCache\All
Users\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9\, I get yet another "Windows
Installer" pop up window which states,

"The path C:\MSOCache\All
Users\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9\'BASIC11N.MSI' cannot be found.
Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find
the installation package 'BASIC11N.MSI' in a folder from which you can
install the product Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003.

(I have no idea how to verify I have access to this location, and I don't
want to INSTALL, I want to UNINSTALL! What is even more frustrating is that
I cannot copy and paste any of the "Windows Installer" pop up window
contents, I MUST TYPE EVERYTHING.)

Then I must click OK, or X to close the window and get back to the original
widow to try the other source.

When I click OK, utilizing the source: Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003,
AGAIN, I get a "Windows Installer" pop up that says: "The path 'Microsoft
Office Basic Edition 2003' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to
this location and try again, or try to find the instillation package
'BASIC11N.MSI' in a folder from which you can install the product Microsoft
Office Basic Edition 2003.

(Basically the same garbage.)

Therefore, I must click OK, or X to close the window.

Now, in order to close the first "Windows Installer" pop up window, I must
click "Cancel", and when I do so, I get, yes, you guessed it, YET ANOTHER Pop
Up Window, but now it is an "Add or Remove" programs pop up window, and it
says:

"The installation source for this products is not available. Verify that
the source exists and that you can access it."

( I don't know to what it is referring or how to resolve the problem.)

PLEASE HELP!

That would be nice, IF I had a CD. To the best of my recollection,
Microsoft Office Basic Edition 2003 was placed on my computer by the HP
repair center about a year ago, when I sent it in for repair 3 times in five
weeks. It was a trial version. I didn't ask for it, and I don't need it,
and I don't want it. It is taking up about 4 gigs hard drive space. I just
want it off of my computer.

I shouldn't think it takes 4 GIGABYTES.......Office 2007 only takes up 304
MEGAbytes......
Try running the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility

I downloaded the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, but when I attempted to
run it a new window opened entitled "Windows Script Host" - "Windows Script
Host access if disabled on this machine. Contact your administrator for
details."

Please advise next step.

Thanks!
