Installing outlook on a different machine

Dave

I bought a new PDA a few months ago, came with outlook
2002, installed Outlook on my computer, works OK. Now I
bought a new laptop, want to install outlook on the laptop
(no longer need it on the desktop), but it has keyed
itself to the desktop, checks with Microsoft & won't let
me install on another machine. There was no warning when I
first installed it that I would not be able to install
elsewhere, & now I need to know what I can do short of
buying another copy.

Thanks
Dave

There's nothing you can do short of buying a new license. The Outlook
version that came with your PDA is an OEM version and, consequently, is
licensed for a single machine only. The retail version is the one whose
license allows you to install it on a desktop and a laptop simultaneously.
Always read your EULA.
