Installing Publisher on Win Server 2003

Has anyone got Publisher 2003 to install on Windows Server 2003? I get
to the screen where it asks for the product key and it hangs when I
type the first letter. Same CD/Key works OK on XP system running under
VMWare (same system, but did not try to complete the install )
