Intall new font

I'm trying to use a font called Burweed ICG. I've put it on other computers but there are a couple that I put the font file in the font folder (c:\windows\fonts) or any other font folder I've seen. Then the choice for Burweed is not there when I open word. Is there any other place I need to put the font for Word to find it
