Is there an integration function available in Excel? I can't find one but would have thought there would have been

Excel is a calculation package, not a calculus package. Most
mathematicians use a symbolic algebra package like Mathematica, Maple, or
Matlab.

It's very straightforward to write a simple numerical integrator in
Visual Basic and use it as a user defined function.

Or use one someone else has written.
