interactivity in PowerPoint

I am using powerPoint to create an interactive Training Module for MS 2003
Office Excel. I have inserted an Excel spreadsheet object and would love to
be able to interact Spreadheet Object while the presentation is running. Is
this possible? Thanks in advance for the help.

You could hyperlink to the actual Excel file by inserting a hyperlink
on the mouseclick or mouseover action setting.

Or you could insert an ActiveX MS Worksheet from the Control Toolbox
toolbar.
then that worksheet would be active during slide show view.
