Internet mail downloads twice

I

Izzy

Why would my e-mail coming from an internet e-mail
account download itself twice in my inbox?

(Settings include leave copy on server for 60 days and
delete when I delete it).
Thanks

Your answer is in your second paragram. If you leave a message on the
server, it will download every time you send/receive.

No, it won't. Or it shouldn't. Outlook sets a flag for messages already
downloaded and if all goes well, they won't be downloaded again using the
same profile.

Something is causing outlook to not set the flag or to make it think it's
not already downloaded.

I'm having the same problem, but don't know where to go to
change the 'server' settings. Could you help please?

Thanks,

Cathy
