You may be in violation of the EULA by attempting to install it on more than
one system

Is it OEM (i.e. was it supplied with the computer it's already installed on,
or did you have to purchase an item of hardware to qualify)? If so, it's
tied to the *FIRST* system it was installed on and may _not_, under any
circumstances, be installed on any other system.

If it's retail, are both systems of differing type (that is to say, is one a
desktop and the other a laptop, or vice versa)? If they are both the same
type, two licences will be required. If they are different, they must be for
your exclusive use (as you are the licensee).

When you say you "lost the original" what do you mean - the original disc or
the original installation key? Are you sure you wrote the key on the disc
correctly? You can download Everest from www.lavalys.com to find your key.

Just make sure you are in accordance with the EULA before you proceed to
install, otherwise you will not be allowed to activate.
