I doubt it will work without issues as it is 11 years old and has many security issues that may not be able to be patched in Windows Vista.

I have Publisher 97 on Vista, works fine.

I'm running Vista Ultimate Edition 64bit, Office 97 seems to install OK
but some parts work and some don't. Word seems OK, Outlook won't run.
