Is Office 2003 Pro Upgrade easy?

Would like to upgrade from Office XP/2002 Pro (pre-installed on a Dell) to
Office 2003 Pro.

Would appreciate a few opinions from those who did? Was it easy? Does it
just install on top? Lose any data? Any tricks required? Is 2003 a lot
better than 2002? How's BCM working out?
