Is Project 2000 supported?

I have been told the Microsoft does not support MS Project 2000 so we should
invest in 2007. Is this true? I still see support pages on the Microsoft
website.

The participants in this group cannot speak for Microsoft since we are not
Microsoft employees. Generally speaking, Microsoft supports one rev back
which would be Project 2003. Of course this link is still active for
Project2000:

That being said, the real answer would be obtained by calling Microsoft
