Is Security Implementations reversable?

Leo Muller

Hi,

I am kind of reluctant to implement the security (wizard) , because I have
found no way back from this. Maybe someone here knows if and how this can be
done, in case I need to.

So basically I want to know how I can undo all security settings of an MDB
database, and recreate an open for everyone database. Of course I DO have an
admin password.

Thanks,

Leo

Depending on version, the wizard offers to make a backup. Nonetheless, why
not just make a copy of your unsecured database before going with the
wizard?

I know it will make a backup,

But once I start working on the secured version, I can't move backwards.
(loosing data, additions, etc).

Unless you screw up and lock yourself out removing security is trivial.
