In network multi user database, I want the users take their laptop (with a
copy of the database) out in the field and update records then back to work
and update those records in the network database
My idea is to make table query only out of their working records and some
how update the network database?

What version of Access? Access 2003 and earlier (and Access 2007 in MDB
format) can use database replication.

Access 2007 in ACCDB format, you're out of luck.
