is there a Not Equal symbol ?

What is the symbol for NOT EQUAL in EXCEL? Is there one? What I am trying
to do is this... I'm working on a time sheet. In the total cell I want it
to display or preferably popup text, if the cells total is not equal to 80
(80 hours for 2 weeks of work). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
