Is there a Power Toy for this?

I have the WebPage to OneNote Power Toy and use it a lot. It transfers an
image of a whole web page into OneNote. But as it's an image, it's not
searchable.

Does anyone know if there's a Power Toy which will copy the contents of a
whol web page into OneNote such that the text is searchable?

I have the Microsoft "Send to OneNote from Internet Explorer" power
toy and it DOES allow searching. Also, the web page that it creates in
OneNote has clickable hyperlinks. The only problem is that it
rearranges the elements of the page so web pages sent to ON may not
look like they did in the browser. Also, it inserts the URL where the
page came from.

Could you be thinking of the OneNote Image Writer from AnalogReality?
It creates an image of the web page. Its advantage over the Microsoft
power toy is that the resulting capture looks just like the original
web page but it's only an image and can't be searched.

I have both tools. Each has its uses as long as you understand the
limitations and use each appropriately.

RK
The WebPage to OneNote I have already does what you say the Image writer
from AnalogReality does i.e. it copies over an exact image of the web page
into OneNote.

I had forgotton about the "send to OneNote from Internet Explorer" Power
Toy. Now you mention it, I realise that I used to have it on my PC. I took it
off for some reason. maybe I should check it out again.

Thanks for the help.

The next version of OneNote will do that natively (searchable images) - in
this version it's a bit more problematic. RK's suggestion is the only idea
I have along that line as well.
