is there a way to view a gantt of one resource in project 2003?

Rob

I just did some leveling and would like to make sure the workflow makes
sense. The easiest way for me to see it is to be able to select a resource
and view a Gantt of just their work to make sure they aren't jumping all
around on tasks. Can a view like this be done? Thanks!

Hi Rob

personally i like the Resource Usage view, because although i don't get
"lines" i get the times they're working ... Resource Allocation is a split
screen view that gives you both Resource Usage and Gantt Chart or you could
just filter the Gantt Chart, using the "Using Resource" option (filter box
is on the formatting toolbar, top right (if you have both toolbars fully
displayed and it normally says "all tasks").

Cheers

Sure. Just create a Filter that displays tasks assigned to the resource you
want to analyze.

Rob,
Sure, and it doesn't require Project 2003. Display the Resource Usage
view and then do a split screen. In the lower pane, select "Gantt
Chart". When you select a resource in the upper pane, the Gantt bar
for that resource only will show in the lower pane.

Hope this helps.
