Issue installing Projet 2003

I am trying to install Project Standard 2003 on a windows xp machine, but
during the installation the program freezes, I have uninstalled it and also
tried repairing it and no luck. THere was no other verision of Project on
thsi PC but it does have Office 97 on it.

Any Suggestions?
