Issue Tracking.

Hello ALL,
I have a problem with my issue tracking feature in
Project Server 2002. When a team member or a PM tries to
assign an issue, the "Assigned To" drop down only shows 4
users, while I have 50 users in my resource pool all
uploaded to Project Server. Is this some security issue.

Thank you in advance.

DV.

Darsh:

The dropdown reflects the users who have assignments on the project team.
Does that get you pointed in the correct direction?

Are all 50 resources also users? And if they are users are they Windows
Authenticated users? Only Windows Auth users will show up in the drop
down.

And then what Gary said also holds true so only Windows Auth users that
ALSO are assigned to the project will show up.

I do understand that and yea everybody is a Windows
Authenticated user. But still there is some problem. I
cannot see everybody who is on the Project Assignment on
the list of Assigned to.
Thank you,
DV.

Darsh:

Are you certain that they have had assignments published? Not just assigned
to a task, but with a published assignment? If you can verify this by seeing
the assignments in the view reached in PWA by going to the Resource Center
and selecting View Resource Assignments from the left hand menu, then try
this:

Logon to PWA with administrator menus and go to Admin > Manage SharePoint
Team Services > Manage Subwebs. Select the project in question in the grid
and click on Synchronize Users on the tool bar.
