Issue with open dialogue box and delay

Hello,

I have an interesting issue with Word. This happens on just a handful of
computers at my location, but it totally drives the people that it effects
nuts.

When clicking on the open file icon, and then when clicking on the down
arrow for the look in list box, the system hangs each time for about 20
seconds or so.

Just for some additional information, the same issue is present with Excel,
and PowerPoint as well.

I have searched the knowledgebase's, and I have not come up with anything
that would help on this issue. Any suggestions would be welcomed.

On the affected computers, right-click on the My Computer icon on the
Windows desktop, left-click on Disconnect Network Drive, and disconnect
any mapped drives that are not currently available.
