We completed a move of all user mailboxes from our older Exchange 2000
server to two new Exchange 2003 servers this weekend.
Since this change, we have found that the "Unread Mail" search folder
now includes unread mail from the Deleted Items folder, whereas before
it did not. While we can have the users create a new Unread Mail
search folder and specifically exclude Deleted Items, this may be
problematic with our large and technically incompetent user base.
Does anyone know if this behavior is normal? Is there an easy
work-around? The only thing that changed is that we moved the
mailboxes from Exchange 2000 to Exchange 2003.
Thanks for you help in advance.
