I've failed numerous times to send a 10MB file as an attachment

I've sent files like this before, but this one always fails. It is a .voc
file from a Sony voice recorder.

do you get any error messages? Are you scanning outbound mail with a virus
scanner?

How large of an e-mail does your e-mail provider allow you to send? And
how large is the e-mail you are sending? Not how large is the file that
you are attaching but how large is the *e-mail* after you attach the
file. After saving the e-mail (with attachment) into the Drafts folder,
look in the Size column (you may have to add it) to check on size.

E-mail is really not the best medium to send large files; use a file
sharing site, or FTP for this.
