JavaApplet not show up

Hello,
I'm build my website using FrontPage 2002. Now, when I testing my website on different browsers (like example with Windows 2000), the JavaApplet(s) from my shopping cart are not show up. But from several browsers with Windows XP all javaApplets working properly. Do I need to insert some settings on my website to make sure the JavaApplets will work properly on all types of browsers?
I'm already contact the Tech support of my shopping cart and they check all my JavaApplets settings and they installed correctly.
I would very appreciate in any professional advise.
Thank You,
Alex

1) See if java has been turned off in Internet Explorer on the machines in
question

2) The machines in question may not have the Java Virtual Machine installed

Thank you so much for super fast support. I just need to be sure. From your answer I'm understood - If some browser is not able to see my JavaApplets it's meen the problem is on this particular browser only.
You meansion only Internet Explorer. What about other type of browsers? Do I need to insert some settings on my website to make sure the JavaApplets will work properly on all types of browsers?

Thank you,
Alex

The Java Virtual Machine is browser dependent, and can be
downloaded from http://java.sun.com
