Keep formatting?

E

Erica

I want to insert a slide from another presentation - along with its color
scheme. When I insert this into my current presentation, it recolors it to
that presentations color scheme. Anyway to prevent this from happening?
Thanks!

Click Insert > Slides From File.
Browse for your presentation, select the slide.
Put a checkmark to "Keep Source Formatting" and click Insert.

Alternately when you copy the slide from an existing presentation and paste
on another presentation, a clipboard icon will appear. Click on it and select
"Keep source formatting".

Does it work for you?

You may need to manually change back the color then, or export the slides as
images, then re-insert the image into the presentation. The print screen
button works as well. See if others have better ways to go around with this.
