Keep having to reactivate Offic 2003 pro

I made several major changes to my hardware config. I am still dealing with a
CD-RW that appears and disappears. Since that time I have been having the
activation wizard for office come up every other time the computer comes out
of standby. When I reset the computer it no longer needs activation. When I
called phone activation they wanted to give me a new product key but that
option was not available. Any ideas or help?

Also, Windows XP Pro doesn't ask for reactivation. I havn't checked Visual
Studio when Office won't work, but I will check it then. Also, I am about to
load Server 2003 instead of Windows XP. Is that going to require
reactivation?
