keeping the calendar month on navigation pane

is there a way to keep the navigation pane
showing a month calendar and folder list at the same time? it shows the
calendar until i click on a folder, then it goes away.

Click on the calendar folder and you will get the calendar in the main
window and calendar in the navigation bar with folders underneath.

naviagtion bar the way i'd like.
