Killing the Shortcut bar in Office 2000

I don't want to merely hide it. I want it dead. I don't
want to see those little icons ever again. I hate it as
much as the Office Assistant. How do I permanently turn
this feature off? Thanks.

Click on the Office logo on the toolbar, select "exit." When it asks if you
want it to start the next time you start Windows, select no.
