Greetings Newsgroup. I have a question for those of you
who are familiar with Access over a company's network. I
have read as much as I can on the subject but still have a
problem. I have a split db with the fe on the machines
and the be on the server. It is as slow as molasses
except for me who sits in the same office as the server.
Others from outside the office accessing the local server
have speed problems. I was informed that Access is
LANable but not WANable which is what is needed. Is this
true? Also, if I need to reach others in other offices
that have there servers but accessing my server, how can
the speed be way increased. My other thought was placing
the Access db on Citrix.
Any assistance is appreciated.
