Large text to small aligned in column

I want an effect that will display names one by one in large text then shrink
and line up in a column. I have been able to shrink the large text, but
aligning the smaller text is difficult. Is there a way to reverse the
process so that I could line up the names first, move and expand them, and
then play it backwards? Another problem I have with this is that editing the
names afterwards would be very difficult. Since I want all the names to
start in the same place, they overwrite themselves in edit mode. I only had
two names in my test list and could not tell which name was where to edit.
I'm using 2003 with XP.

Scott,
Don't know about your first problem, but on the second one the editing one I
could be able to help.
On the drawing toolbar you can add a button right at the very end, just
click on the tiny little arrow toolbar options I think it is called, select
add or remove buttons, drawing, check the last item in the list. Now when
you need to edit one of your names, click on the button and you will see all
your objects listed.
