LDAP Directory?

G

George Aster

I have set Outlook 2002 to open in the Contacts folder
but am first presented with a dialog box
headed "Microsoft LDAP Directory" showing default
Connection Details as: Server "Null", Port "3268",
User "Null", & Password blank. I get rid of this minor
nuisance by closing it, but why does it appear at all,
and is there a way to eliminate it?

I have no idea what an LDAP Directory is and don't
particularly care. The only feature of Outlook that I
use is the Contacts folder, which is an excellent address
book and a great convenience for inserting addresses in
Word documents and envelopes. I use Outlook Express 6.0
as my e-mail client and depend on its separate address
book for e-mail addresses.
