Left-click in IE to "Save" not open as slide show

Does anyone know how of an IE or PPT setting that would
allow you to "Save" or "Open" when left-clicking a PPT
file from a web page?

By default it opens in slide-show mode when you left
click. Other Office apps will launch the appropriate
office application.
