I'd like to be able to type x with line over it.
In Office 2000 I could but I can't figure out
how to in Office 2003. Any help?

And with the larger/better Unicode fonts like "Lucida Sans Unicode"/"Arial
Unicode MS" (sans-serif) or "Doulos SIL" (free, serif), you can type x
followed by Alt+772. Or type x304, select the "304" and type Alt+X. Or define
a keyboard shortcut for the macron U+0304 in the "Insert > Symbol" dialog,
then type x and that shortcut.

Regards,
Klaus
