leveling debug?

In Project 2007:

Is there a way to debug leveling failures? Can't get my resources to go
non-red. And sometimes a day will show up red in resource usage view, but
it's not overallocated. Can't figure all this out. Is there some way to
figure out exactly why something's gone red from resource leveling?

Hi,

Do you level minute by minute?
If not a resource can come up red after leveling.
Do read faq 34 (Resource Overallocation occurs in less than one day) in
http://www.mvps.org/project/faqs.htm

If it's something else, if leveling has been unable to resolve an
overallocation do check

- Constraints
- Priority 1000
- Assignment units higher than Resource Max Units
- Resource assigned to both a task and its summary task

To really locate the cause if it's tedious I level one day at a time than
check, than one more day... is that what you call debugging?
