Line object and text

Hi,

I want to superimpose a line over another object such as rectangle. I want
the text box on the line to be the same colour as the background object. I
can do this by setting the text box fill to none or to the same colour as the
object behind - no problem.

How do I stop the line from appearing to "cross out" the text?

Ie. it should look something like:

-----------TEXT----------------

for the rectangle - menu Format -> Text
Tet Block tab
and set the text background colour

In addition to Paul's comment, select the rectangle and goto
(toolbar)>shape>order and select bring to front (or shortcut keys: <cntl>
<shift> <f> ).

If the line segment is short, centered on the rectangle, you add text to the
line segment.
